Sugar had an outstanding performance career until an injury at the age of sixteen caused her retirement. She was a winner at both barrel racing and pole bending at every level. Open rodeos, AQHA Junior (4 yrs old) Barrel and Pole Bending Class winner at two major shows, an AQHA World Show Champion, and a Texas Reg. IX High School state qualifier four years in a row. In a way, we were fortunate. The injury was career ending and now we had a fantastic performance broodmare ready to have prospects with the ability and tenacity of their dam.
