About Kates Gone
Bred by Roy Browning himself, Kates Gone earned her ROM in racing and went straight to the broodmare band. An own daughter and look alike to the great Easily Smashed, winner of $326,060, Kate comes from a strong maternal line as well. Her dam, granddam, and great granddam produced several foals with nearly 100% of their foals starting and earning an ROM and a 90 to 100 Speed Index. Easily Smashed was probably best known for his influence through his daughters and they produced some of the “jewels” of the barrel racing world. There a too many to name, but of most recent notoriety are Tammy Key’s Easy Dash Oak, aka “Roundpen”, out of a daughter of Easily Smashed and Martha Josey’s mount Orange Smash, by Easily Smashed. Kate has produced race horses and barrel and pole horses.
